Waun y Llyn Country Park
Close to Hope Mountain is a beautiful country park with clear views to Liverpool, the hills of Derbyshire and Lancashire across the Cheshire plain and a, not too vigorous, circular walk. There is an abundance of moorland fauna, flora and interesting birdlife.

Flintshire County Council have five allotment sites within the County area. Four in Flint, and one in Dobshill.
