Application for Financial Assistance 2025

Local Organisations are entitled to apply for financial assistance from the Community Council once a year where applications will be considered in the December Meeting. 

This year we have introduced a new form to assist the council in obtaining more information to enable an informed decision when allocating funding. It is appreciated that initially this may appear very comprehensive, however, please be assured that if you require any assistance in completing the form you can contact us..

Application Forms can be accessed and completed online, downloaded or by contacting the Clerk.

Please note the application must be returned no later than Friday 21st November 2025 @ 5.00pm

Scarecrow Competition 2020 - Application Form

Caergwrle Castle - Press Release

Caergwrle set to become Cadw’s 44th castle. Caergwrle Castle was built in 1277 by Dafydd ap Gruffudd, brother of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Prince of Wales. He held it until 1282. The remains of Caergwrle Castle was received into state care by Lord Elis-Thomas AM, Minister for Culture Tourism and Sport, from Hope Community Council in 2018.
