Local Organisations are entitled to apply for financial assistance from the Community Council once a year. This year applications will be considered in the December Meeting.

Caergwrle Castle - Press Release

Caergwrle set to become Cadw’s 44th castle. Caergwrle Castle was built in 1277 by Dafydd ap Gruffudd, brother of Llywelyn ap Gruffudd, Prince of Wales. He held it until 1282. The remains of Caergwrle Castle was received into state care by Lord Elis-Thomas AM, Minister for Culture Tourism and Sport, from Hope Community Council in 2018.
