Planning Applications
The Community Council are a statutory consultee for all planning applications in the ward.
All planning applications submitted to Flintshire County Council can be accessed and viewed via the FCC Website View and comment on planning applications
Should you wish to submit any comment whether in support or an objection, this should be completed via the FCC website View and comment on planning applications. If help is required in completing the submission this can be obtained from Planning Aid Wales who are happy to offer support. Contact: rosa@planningaidwales.org.uk
Should you wish the Community Council to formally consider your personal comments on an application, this must be submitted to the council in advance of the monthly council meeting which is held the first Wednesday of the month (excluding August which is summer recess). Please contact the Chairman of Planning & Highways Cllr Lynn Davies on 01978 760981 / lynndavies4jt@gmail.com or clerk@hopecommunitycouncil.gov.wales. Comments received after the monthly council meeting may not be considered.

You can view comments made by the Community Council on previous planning applications by reviewing the appropriate council minutes.
F.C.C. make the final decision on planning applications. They consider all responses from Community Councils and the public together with the planning officer’s expert knowledge of planning law to make their final decision.
