A Welcome to our New Village Groundsman

When setting the budget for 2024/25 the council approved for the appointment of a new post within council staff, a Village Groundsman. This position will work within the community managing and maintaining council assets and assisting with general upkeep around our villages.

Mr John Ferrari, who lives in the village and has done so for 26 years was appointed in May 2024. Already John has made positive improvements to the village and we hope that you will welcome him and appreciate his efforts when you see him out and about. He is easily identified by his very bright hi-viz and council logos.
