Flintshire Tourism Opportunity

In 2024, Hope Community Council was successfully awarded funding from Flintshire County Council’s Flintshire Tourism Opportunity Fund to undertake a review of the potential benefits and disadvantages of increased visitors to the community, including in response to the proposed North East Wales National Park. The infographic below shows the 12 areas of opportunity that the study identified, all of which had a series of potential future projects or developments which could be delivered within the community, or through partnership.

The Community Council is now in the process of exploring which actions might be appropriate and possible sources of funding to help support those areas of opportunity
