Digital Flintshire – have your say!

The Council is inviting local people to have their say on its new and innovative Digital Strategy.

During the consultation period, which begins on 1 November and runs until the end of January, it is very important to us that we seek the views and opinions of as many people as possible.

Below you will find a general communication explaining how people can find out more about the Strategy and how they can have their say.  Please feel free to share this link with members of your community who live - or have an active interest - in Flintshire.

Please feel free to share this communication with your networks.

We will be Tweeting from @FlintshireCC and would welcome retweets to reach as many people as possible.

Flintshire County Council is inviting local residents to have their say on our new and innovative Digital Strategy – building on our positive achievements to date on our digital journey.

The Strategy has been updated to reflect our ambitious plans and we have developed an interactive version of the strategy for you to review before providing us with your feedback.  This can be viewed here. If you would like to review the full strategy document, we also have a copy available to view on our Digital Strategy page.

Consultation opened on 1 November and runs until midnight on Monday 31 January 2022.  The survey is available online here.

Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Corporate Management and Assets, Councillor Billy Mullin, said:

“I am pleased that we are moving forward our digital programme, bringing our residents along on this exciting journey.  This is an ambitious plan which sets out how we will improve and simplify our services.

“It’s not just about making more services available online, it’s about changing the way we deliver our services to provide the best experience for everyone.  This includes bringing digitally excluded residents with us.  We launched our new Digital Flintshire Hub in August because we want everyone to experience the power of digital - to improve the potential and growth of the County and to prevent social isolation.”

If you are unable to access the documents online, you can visit one of our Flintshire Connects Centres or a local library and use a public computer free of charge to view the strategy and complete the survey.  Staff at our Flintshire Connects Centres are also available to support you to complete the survey online if you need some help.
